i was approached by a local housing authority across east sussex to design a logo for the a re-brand of the "sussex Homemove" scheme.
Sussex Homemove is the choice based lettings scheme that Hastings Borough Council, Rother and Wealden District Councils use to advertise social housing properties available in these areas.
I based the idea on a few elements of the sussex county; sea and countryside. having done research and looking at information sent to me by the council i wanted to make a modern looking design but very simple. working closely with the council i was able to design an idea that is now headlines the website and listed on a variety of other websites and promotional material.
this was another logo made for the sussex council for another initiative. This was to raise awareness for rough sleepers in the county and beyond. It is a very simple design. I based it on playing with shapes to create different effects. I finally decided to use the shape on an arrow as if it is pointing to the symbol of the house.
The Sussex Rough Sleeping Prevention Project worked across the whole of East Sussex with the all the local housing authorities. It ensured that targeted support was delivered as a rapid response to single people who are insecurely housed, before they reach crisis point to stop them becoming rough sleepers. This was used is a variety of campaigns across the south of england over the space of 2 years. It featured on websites, leaflets, newsletters, emails and presentations.
I designed this logo for a friends Massage business. having been established masseur in the area of bournemouth he was looking to re-brand the company and re-shape the way it operated. He wanted to be able to incorporate a variety of services alongside what he was already doing. I played with different aspects of Bournemouth going mainly on the idea of its infamous pier and beach. It is a simple design that is now being used on business cards, uniform, Leaflets and will be featured on his new website that is currently being built.
